Arts & Entertainment

Art and entertainment are available in a number of forms.  Before Hurricane Katrina a multi-screen movie theatre operated in Chalmette offering the latest movie releases.  The St. Bernard Civic Center also hosted many performing arts events, shows and displays.  Several local art organizations continue to host annual events.  Plays are performed by several local theatre groups throughout the year. As of yet the movie theatre and Civic Center have not returned to operation.
